National Beach Cleanup Tour 2018 - Waldport, Oregon | Volunteer Beach Cleanup
Fun Facts:Governor Patterson Memorial State Recreation Site features picnic areas, bathrooms, a hiking trail, and a beach that stretches on for miles. Many visitors enjoy whale watching, wading, sunbathing, and fishing. Make sure you are at the beach in the evening so that you don’t miss the spectacular sunset. If you are planning to stay in town for more than one day, you should make sure to check out the Alsea Bay Marina and Robinson Park. Crabbing is a popular activity at the marina, and you are likely to catch sight of the seals that frequent Waldport’s beaches. You can also stop by the WHS Kayak Shack if you are interested in seeing the town from the water. The guides who work at the Kayak Shack are all entrepreneurship students at Waldport High School. The Beachside State Recreation Site Campground is a good option if you want to camp in town; if you are heading to nearby Yachats, you could also stay at the Tillicum Beach Campground. Read More:
