Seabirds Eating Plastic
Plastic is a large problem to seabirds and most of our seabirds today are full of micro plastic. Red seems to be the most attracted color of plastic on beaches and you will find less red over blues, and other colors of micro plastic washing onto our beaches one wave at a time. When we are speaking about plastic it's almost over the top unbelievable how large of problem plastic has became for land and our one world ocean.

With all the plastic trash is flowing into the oceans the seaside seabirds are being effected so greatly that 99 percent of all sea birds have consumed plastic and if the rate doesn't lower almost all sea birds will become affected by sea plastic by 2025. Global Plastic Production Doubles Annually
Worldwide factoires are producing approximately 400 million tonnes of plastic every year. So much plastic in our oceans, landfills, and on our streets in our cities. Today everything you look at and the computer I'm using to publish this article is made from plastic. Blaming others is what most everyone does and many feel the ocean is polluted by other countries over the United States having anything to do with the large growing rates of plastics. Untied States is responsible for at least 50% of ocean plastics.
Plastics was once good news and later is one of the most horrifying news story ever and solutions are not something that come easy. The Ocean Clean Up raised over 31 million dollars and thought they could cleanup plastic in the middie of the ocean with waves in the mix. Plastic begins on land and is best cleaned up as the waves wash million of pounds of plastic onto beaches everyday. All over the world we have geared up and built thousands of machines that collectively produce plastic soft drink lids and water bottles at the rate of nearly twenty thousand per second. How Microplastics are generated
Plastic is very complex but have been intentionally made of a primary source and a secondary source. Micorplastics originating from primary souses it may be possible to identify specific source of plastic but floating plastic seems to show the different types collected on beaches. Polyethylene microplastics are what Ocean Blue is removing from beaches in large numbers on the West coast that floats onto beaches with every wave that crashes on the beaches. Nurdles or mermaid tears are nick names for the tiny plastic pellets found today on many beaches due to over production using the sea as a highway to recycle plastic water bottles.

Example of how microplastics can end up in our food
Plastic first can be like a plastic 55 gallon barrel or a plastic box that breaks in to smaller fragments that ends up churned or degrades by the Sun into tiny microplastics that end up in our shellfish, birds, and our fish consumers eat to consume protein.
