Annually in Bend, Oregon the most dedicated paddle enthusiast dress up in their canoes and kayaks decked out in bright lights paddling around the Deschutes River for a few hours in celebration for Christmas. You can join at Tumalo Creek for a special day on the River and help keep Bend Authentic.
Paddlers will be meeting at Tumalo Creek Kayak and Canoe December 15th 2017 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. to decorate. After everyone deck their halls or Kayaks they will depart from the dock around 4:00 pm behind the shop and paddle upstream to the flag bridge.
The best time to take photos is prior and when everyone is flowing downstream and well assemble in formation. Please take photos and share with Ocean Blue show we can share the love for not only the Holidays but for the Deschutes River.
