Burger King LOwers plastic straws and lids But Not At Drive THROUGH Windows Dutch Bros Straws Remaining A Stink
Burger King has stopped giving plastic straws and lids for cold drinks to its dine-in customers as of Monday October 15th, 2018. However, customers can still request for them at the fast-food chain’s 42 outlets, while they will also be provided for deliveries and takeaways. KFC is another fast food chain that was one of the first to help lower single use plastic during dine-in orders.
I know of a few coffee shops that could also ditch the lids and fancy plastic drinks in cups! Ocean Blue has been finding Dutch Bros plastic drink cups and straws by the hundreds every where we go and have collected over 2000 cups this year during beach and river cleanups and truly feel this company can find betters ways to market over using plastic cups that can't be recycled in our local landfills.
