Ever wanted to visit crater lake during the snowy winter months? This season Mount Rainier National Park is on government shutdown has affected Crater lake with limit operational funding. Now it's technically open but overall limited and no funding for search and rescue could be a huge setback.
The federal government shutdown will impact the over 400 national parks and monuments. In Oregon, that includes John Day Fossil Beds and Oregon Caves national monuments, in addition to Lewis and Clark National Historical Park of Oregon.
On a good note the shutdown is over the last payment to complete the wall that many refuse to fathom it's even taking place, while a online fundraiser avocating to build the wall raised over 8 Million dollars, environmental groups saving the oceans will have nickles and times to complete our projects with.
