Kelsey Holowati, is a native Oregonian and proud dog-mom of three with a passion for the outdoors. A Leader at a large Healthcare organization during the week, you will typically find Kelsey stomping around the woods of Central Oregon, taking in the beauty of Mt. Hood, or enjoying the splendors of the Oregon Coast on the weekends. Kelsey has been increasingly alarmed and saddened by the reality of the plastic waste crisis that is littering our Oregon Coastline, and she has been called to preserve the beauty that Oregon has to offer. Kelsey found Ocean Blue Project in the Spring of 2018 when planning a vacation to Beverly Beach, and it was there in July of 2018 and with the support of OBP that Kelsey performed her first beach clean up. She involved about 18 volunteers and gathered approximately 25lbs of waste, on what looked like an otherwise clean beach. This sparked Kelsey’s involvement with OBP and she has since been a part of their #goingstrawless campaign and plans to host quarterly cleanups along the Northern OR Coastline throughout 2019.

In Honor Of: Lisa passed away last Christmas and will be forever missed.
Lisa H. Aofrate, Ed.D.; her doctorate is in higher education. She also has a Masters in Early Childhood Education and a Bachelors in Elementary Education. She has taught from kindergarten to university level. She loves the awe inspiring new readers' "aha" experiences in learning. So she has combined the early childhood 'learning without knowing they are learning' method with scientific facts to teach young children about this one endangered species. There may be more books on other endangered species in the future. Lisa is very concerned about our world, our environment, and our survival as a human species. She is on the board of an ecological non-profit for this very reason. She hopes that children, teachers, and parents will join in to help our fellow creatures with enthusiasm. And if not, at least learn something about them in an enjoyable way.
More Environmental Management members will be added this summer ~
