Fun Facts:Land was acquired through litigation, and purchase from private owners between 1968 and 1971. Neskowin Creek was known to early settlers as Slab Creek. The original plat of the adjacent resort community was filed by James Walton, Jr. and Lizette Fawk Walton in 1910.Acreage: 7.95

Sunday, 4/29/2018 3:30 PM-6:30 PM Where: Neskowin Beach State Recreation Site, Neskowin, Oregon Directions: Slab Creek Rd NW parking, just off hwy 101. Park near Neskowin Trading Company & Beach Company parking. Meeting Spot: Follow trail along Kiwanda Creek. Look for Ocean Blue Project flags and sign up table on beach. Safety Issues: Glass is a possible thing found on beaches. If available, please bring: Reusable water bottle, warm clothes, rain gear, and a recycled box or bag to collect beach debris. Note: We do not use plastic bags to cleanup beaches.
